Welcome to

From mega marshes to the Altai Mountains,
5th of June - 19th of June, 2011

We are “Siberian Bird Tours” and together with our Russian partners NGO “SIEI” we would like to assist you in successful birding in the wild landscapes of one of the most beautiful and varied regions of Siberia.
The tour lies within the Altai mountain region, but also includes the southern part of the West Siberian Plain, one of the world’s largest wetlands. The Russian Altai mountains known as The Golden Mountains are one of the six designated World Heritage Sites in Russia according to the Protected Areas Programme of Unesco and are situated in the south of West  Siberia close to the border with Mongolia, Kazakhstan and China.

Details of the forthcoming tour can be found on the page
“Tour info”.

More information about our region can be found on the page of our partners.
